March 2024 – Impact Microbiology Ltd. is thrilled to share a special announcement. After many years of dedication and unparalleled service, Elena Connors, microbiologist, entrepreneur, and the esteemed founder of Impact Microbiology Services Ltd (IMS), will be retiring. 

Elena’s journey in the world of microbiology services began with a profound commitment to excellence. Her passion for ensuring food safety and her unwavering dedication to her craft led her to establish IMS in 2002, after recognizing a crucial need in the food industry.

 As Elena embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we express our deepest gratitude for her remarkable contributions to the Atlantic industry.

In ensuring the continued success and local ownership of IMS, we are pleased to announce Fredericton-headquartered LuminUltra has become IMS’ parent company. With Elena’s transition, we welcome industry professional Sarah Cook to oversee IMS operations and services.
